Description

This is an Original 1965 "DAN GURNEY And His World of Racing" Mobile Fidelity Records 12" STEREO LP Record Album # MF-101. This vintage Microgroove extra long play Polymax record (it's not actually vinyl) consists of Dan talking about his racing activities and adventures plus great racing and race car sound effects, most of which are of Fords!
The cars include Gurney in his 1964 Ford Galaxie NASCAR stocker setting the Riverside Raceway lap time record, two Ford GT 40s in a demonstration test race, the Lotus-Ford Indy Car, the Cobra Daytona and the Brabham-Climax race car. There's also racing sounds from the 1960 and 1964 LA Times Grand Prix and the 1965 Motor Trend 500. It's a very high-tech audiophile recording for its time (see my photo of the jacket text).
Condition of the record is excellent with no visible scratches, scuffs or damage. The labels & jacket are excellent and the jacket STILL HAS ITS SHRINKWRAP plastic intact. The white paper sleeve is included.
This is a terrific record in beautiful condition that racing and Ford fans will listen to again and again!
