Falling For That Same Old Line
b/w
If You can't Undo The Wrong You've Done Then Don't Do No More
Angel Sound generic label out of New York City from someime in the 1960s.
An incredible soulful female singer, singing her heart out like Linda Jones did, backed by an unknown vocal group.
There is no credit on the labels as to who the singers are.
The singers probably went into the studio to record a demo, hoping to shop it around to get a recording contract, but it ptobably didn't work out for them.
The record is in VG/VG- conditon, and one side has two tiny pieces of the grooves removed, causing about 5 loud ticks played over each of the groove flakes.
There is a dent at the edge of this aluminum acetate, but it's nearly 2" before the playing grooves begin because the playing grooves begin nearly half way into the record.
Certainly a one of a kind acetate of a chilling soulful female singer with a good group backing her!
