1960’s Record Carry Case PLATTER-PAK # 740 Psychedelic Orange Design & 45 rpm Records Up for auction is a both a retro carrying case and 35 + record collection from the 1960’ s and 1970’s. Case Description: This is a retro Record Carrying Case for 45 rpm records. On the back it is marked, Platter-pak No. 740, Made by Amberg File & Index Co., Kankakee, Ill. It has a very cool psychedelic orange and white swirl design all around the case. The case measures about 8" wide x 5" deep x 8" tall. There is a clear plastic handle on top with metal hinges and front lock. It is in very good condition, with no rips, tears, cracks and is not warped or bent just some wear on the corners and minimal fading. There are no inserts or dividers. Most of the records are 1960's with early 1970's both Pop and Rock as well as children’s songs. 45 records: Condition: Unknown about the quality of the record playability. They have wear, some warping and minor scratches to their surface. Some have names written on them. I cannot guarantee that none of these will not skip. Some have their original sleeve while many others come in a plain white sleeve, not original to the record..They include recordings from United Artist, Apple, Dark Horse, MGM, Capital, Bell, T.K, Decca, Epic, AVCO Records & More!
