Description
Here's a special set of records made when the 45rpm was first introduced in 1949. I believe this set was available with the purchase of a RCA Victor 45 player. It features 14 titles in a variety of colors, which was used at the time to differentiate styles of music. Included are the original 14 titles that came with this set, listed below, with the original company paper sleeves. The records look to be VG+ to NM in condition. "The Skaters Waltz" might be in the VG to VG+ range. The set includes the rare 47-0001 green Eddy Arnold 45, considered by many to be the first commercially available 45rpm record, a valuable record just by itself. I don't have the catalog that came with this set. The cover has some staining and wear on front and back, binding is still in good shape. There's a 15th record by Tony Martin, number 47-3104 that was with the set when I bought it, and I'm just passing it along as a bonus item.
