EKS 74045-A1 and B1 are stamped into the runout grooves of sides A & B respectively, again signifying this one of the very first copies to be pressed. Quite scarce these days, especially in such good condition.*
Condition
Vinyl: Excellent, one or two light scuff marks here and there but no real serious signs of wear. A few spider lines around the spindle. Both sides bright and clean, obviously used sparingly and well looked after. VG+ would be underselling it, it's rare to see a copy in such good shape. Comes in original paper inner sleeve.
Outer Sleeve: Structurally very impressive, the spine and all four corners are solid and sharp as the photos show. No rips or tears, and the glue shows no sign of weakening on any of the seams.
There is some evidence of fading on the spine making the wording a bit hard to see. There is also some rubbing / fading on the front cover, you may see a small area of white on the artist's nose (ooer), which is where the print has slightly worn away, along with a bit of light creasing to the sides. The back cover seems to be largely unaffected though and appears to be in excellent condition.
Overall I would say that the condition of the vinyl alone makes this a must-have record for the collector, and aside from the minor signs of wear on the front cover, this is an impressive and rare piece that I'm sure will meet, if not exceed the winning bidder's expectations. Happy bidding!
