Description
Very old, WWI 78 RPM on the Columbia Label, with one side having a RED CROSS fund raiser ---with the STAR SPANGLED BANNER sung by MS. Margaret WILSON (Woodrow's daughter I'm told). Label has a photo of her pictured in an oval. Text on the label reads--THE PANAMA PACIFIC INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION SOUVENIR RECORD-PRICE $1.00---This Record of My Voice is Sold by the Columbia Graphophone Company shall yield to the American RED CROSS the sum of 25 Cents covering my Entire Royalty. The other side has a seal from the 1915 Pan Pac. Exposition held in San Francisco, includes a MEDLEY OF PATRIOTIC AIRS Played by the Columbia Band. SOUVENIR RECORD is also printed below the Expo Seal. This is in E+ condition, with very minor wear. Does not appear to have been played much. No chips or cracks.
VERY HISTORICAL RECORD. Would display nicely with WWI or Red Cross, or Pan Pacific Expo memorabilia.
