Offered for sale, as a lot, are thirty-two RCA/NBC Thesaurus Orthacoustic 16-inch vintage radio transcription discs, being sold as-is in brown paper sleeves, all, from appearance perspective, in good condition.  Some sleeves have handwritten notations or plastic labels to denote the respective disc number and its general contents; unless otherwise noted, all are black vinyl discs.  Please be advised that, as I lack the necessary equipment to play these discs (an oversized turntable), they are untested.  All appear functionally playable, however, with no obvious damage such as warpage or cracking.  It is clear that these discs were played in the past, presumably by the radio station that originally hosted them, so, as may be expected, some have scratches and scuffs.  In one instance there is a notation on the record where a track has been damaged, suggesting that the staff were careful to diligently note this fact wherever applicable (presumably to avoid playing that track on air); since that is the only such handwritten notation in this set, one may infer the other discs are all otherwise playable.

I provide a listing of each disc by number and general artist content below (Sammy Kaye's Orchestra is the most frequent); if song listings for any individual disc or other more specific information as to a particular disc's condition is desired, please contact me.  Representative photos of one sampled disc are included with this listing; providing photos of all was impractical.  The diversity of songs on these discs is impressive, but likewise too lengthy to list.

If sold domestically, the lot will be carefully packaged and shipped via the United States Postal Service's media mail with insurance.   I am willing to ship priority if so requested, although you should be aware this will result in significantly higher costs.  Note that these thirty-two records are, when packed together, quite heavy, approximately thirty pounds, and will be boxed in an approximately 18" cube box, and the postal costs will reflect these circumstances.  Shipping to international customers will be by USPS priority mail with insurance.
