1000+ UNSORTED CLASSICAL VINYL RECORDS
Due to a huge overstock, we are selling off all of our classical vinyl records. We have been storing all the classical records we have arrive instock, waiting to sort through them, but due to recent large record collections of more the style of music we deal in, we don't have the space or time to sort & list these.
With a quick count, there are over 1000 single/double LPs, and over 50 box sets. There maybe be a few that are considered more big band music than classical, but not many.
Some of the record labels we have seen are Deutsche Grammophon (DGG), Decca, HMV, EMI, Argo, Columbia Masterworks, ECM, MFP, Nonesuch, RCA, Sony Masterworks, and Supraphon, plus many others.
The records are completely unsorted, and there is going to be some very rare and collectable records in there. We have very little knowledge about classical music, and as such we had planned on going through the records and researching each one, but due to recent large purchases of vinyl we specialise in, these sadly have to go. We are starting the auction at £300, with no reserve, which for this sheer quantity is very cheap.
Condition:
Due to the sheer size of the records on offer, we are unable to check the condition of each individual record. From a quick spin through, the majority of the records seem to be between VG and NEAR MINT, with the majority probably between EX and NEAR MINT. Of course there are going to be some that are below, and a few of the covers have a bit of damage, but not many.
We are listing the records on a 10 day auction, to give any prospective bidders the chance to come and have a look at the records in person. This gives you 2 weekends, and a whole week to get the chance to come and have a look. We are located in Aldershot, Hampshire, and the records are available to view any time, any day.
Of course collection is preffered, but we are willing to box up and ship the records, at buyers expense, but this will be quite expensive due to the sheer size and weight.
