Description
ORIGINAL POLYDOR L.P 1970 overall in v.g.c. POLYDOR STANDARD 2384 004.
Cover bears traces of vinyl indentation, but apart from 'patination' there is virtually little else that flaws it. No tears or bending.
Inner sleeve reveals age with a little yellowing/creasing but complete and unbroken. Actual vinyl looks flawless but if one is to nit-pick, as the purist will want to know there are extremely minor and extremely few imperfections to sound: track 1 end ,TWO very brief low key clicks(1-1.5secs);track 2 same; tracks 4 &5 some very quiet static noise for about 2 seconds.
Let me repeat that these imperfections are unobtrusive and of the very briefest nature if you are LISTENING for them,AS I WAS BECAUSE I WANTED TO BE AS HONEST AS I COULD,but that still gives sonic condition at least 9 out of 10.
All of the LPs in my collection have been treated with the greatest of care and respect; this KEITH TIPPETT GROUP classic has been played only a handful of times since the introduction of cds-hence the listing for record conossieurs.
In conclusion the cover ,sleeve are in a respectable condition; the vinyl is so so close to being in mint; honesty will NOT allow me to call it perfect; if there are tiny flaws to sound , they are not of MY making.
A MINT copy sold on ebay for in excess of £250 recently.....this RARE L P has a starting price commensurate with overall condition , but with the other copy's selling price in mind.
