Description
("12" 78 rpm) PATHÉ X 5527 (France)
Manuel QUIROGA, violin,
with Mrs QUIROGA at the piano.
SARASATE: Spanish dances
KREISLER: La Gitana
VERY NICE COPY OF THIS VERY RARE RECORD,
TOP CONDITION, GOOD FOR PROFESSIONAL REPORT !
Superlative sound with high dynamics and clear presence even on higher notes. Records of this time are hard to find in this condition. Very quiet listening.
Matrix numbers: 300893/300901
SLEEVE CONDITION: modern sleeve
RECORD CONDITION : EX except rare minor defects (really barely played, mostly glossy despite some superficial traces and local blemishing of the wax, seeming from factory, plays EX or better with only usual wax presence - mostly on Sarasate - normal for that wax in these years, with no frying ; has only ultra-rare soft noises barely noticeable and 3 clicks from a tiny mark /// light "wave" deformation = 1,5 mm, no incidence)
( Please see our grading table on our ABOUT ME page )
revised: we did write "Leon" Quiroga ! (we like very much the songs of these composers, sorry for the mistake)
