THE SORROWS " TAKE A HEART " PYE VPV 7602930 , FRANCE ........French Original 1st press with unique front and back cover !!!!! See the scans , especially the back is completely different ,with french written article on SORROWS , condition now .... Well the cover is front laminated in VG++ , the back since non laminated has some wear as you can see , but no other defect like writting ,stickers or tears , so i think an overall grade as VG++ is pretty right and honest as strict too .The record now ,has M- labels , they show no spindle marks atall , it seems like the ex owner didnt play the lp almost atall , he simply didnt take care of it ,throwing it here and there without the appropriate care .The result is various non deep hairlines and two scuffs , but i have played the whole lp ,from 1st song to the last ....Actually i havent the time to do so for every record i put on ebay ,but here's an exception since this lp is one of my all time favourite ones and i always enjoy it .Afterall i have in my collection the UK STEREO original one ,so i had the curiosity to find out how the french issue plays ,since it was the 1st time to find a french one !! Well as i said visually the vinyl looks rather VG , but audio grading should be honestly somewhere between VG++ to EX- , that means minimal surface noise , MUSIC ALWAYS LOUDER THAN SURFACE , CRISP CRYSTAL CLEAR , NO DISTORTION ON SOUND BECAUSE OF THE USED CONDITION.............This is not bizzare though , i explained it before , the ex-owner simply didnt play it , so no heavy play on this lp with bad equipement , only hairlines creating the minimal surface , but no ticks , no pops and obviously no skipps or jumps , to my ears and my high standards on listening fave lp's , this copy isn't M- and the one i would say keeper's copy , but the thing is how it plays and the answer is that considering the great BEAT music in it , this lp really rocks and gonna blow your mind and MOD party since it has a great LOUD recording ,almost as good as the Uk one ( and don;t forget that the cover is decent and in good shape too ) .............
