Description
the PRETTY THINGS selftitled EP OZ Philips PE 5
released Feb. 1965 - see scan for track listing.
liner noes on back explain that the first UK 45 was not released in australia,
but the 2nd 45 was and although not a hit, created enough interest for the
record company to issue this ep of the 2 singles. They obviously did not
appreciate where the PTs were coming from as this ep was mastered and
pressed at a fairly subdued level!
record is visually VG+, there are only a small number of very minor markings.
there is minor surface noise audible at the start of each side and between
the tracks, but none during the music.
the cover is rated VG as there is some loss of red colour from the spine
and top and bottom seams. there is a 1 cm split in the bottom seam and one
crease/tear mark on the fold over lower back flap.
the release date 12.2.1965 is written in blue biro in numbers 5 mm high
on the back of the picture sleeve.
overall this is a very nice copy of a hard to find ep.
