File: Crickets the CHIRPING CRICKETS (featuring Buddy Holly)
RARE original YELLOW LABEL PROMO LP
on Brunswick BL 54038 with that "deep groove"
the Vinyl is VISUALLY Graded, but we DID check most of it:
Vinyl looks vg with some random, barely finger-felt marks.
The vast majority of the album sounds great,
with crisp highs, deep / natural bass, and only some random,
intermittent light bits of surface noise that
correspond to the marks that are visible.
Most of the time there is no audible surface noise,
no constant crackle, and no loud pops.
Clean labels too!
Machine-stamped matrix numbers in the dead-wax:
M G 6 0 3 6 T 1 b/w M G 6 0 3 7 T 2
VG jacket: lower seam has some nicks,
partial splitting near both corners,
3 inches of the upper seam is splitting,
the rest is worn but intact (printing on the spine is worn)
most of the top edge has splitting on the ends,
with neat SCOTCH tape repair of the upper right section,
but most of the top middle third is intact.
the back side has light shelf-wear, light yellowing,
and the previous owner's name is written.
The front laminate still looks great: it's semi-glossy,
has very minor shelf-wear, and still has a great texture to it -
