Description
Paul Walters and the 521 Club Band, "I Know What Love Is All About"/"She Put Me Down" (521 F-111). Ultra-rare northern soul 45 out of Brooklyn. Only two or three top collectors on the scene have a copy. Never turns up. Two copies have sold in recent years for between $1,000 and $2,000. Sound files can be heard here: http://www.soul-source.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=53199 (note: FILES ARE NOT FROM MY COPY, but my "I Know" side sounds slightly better and my "She" side sounds slightly worse). Condition: "I Know" is VG++; "She" is VG+ with a bit of surface noise that might be improvable with a good spin on the fancy vacuum record cleaner; nevertheless, it plays loud and clear through the noise and is usable and enjoyable as is. Labels have some ring wear; vinyl is beautiful and glossy with some scuff marks. (I use M–, VG+, VG, VG–, G conditions.)
