I bought, probably now about 12 years ago, a 10" of Mutant Moments (with postcard) and this 12" (without postcard) from a record fair in Birmingham. There used to be a guy selling lots of weird and wonderful bootlegs and these were two of them. It's obviously unofficial and could be a private pressing or dub plate. The seller had a lot of items which I bought over the years by various 80's bands which I'd never seen before or since. I thought I'd sold this 12" a long time ago but my father found a pile of records in the garage and gave them to me when I went to visit recently and this was in amongst them.
When I sold the 10" I had a lot of messages and even abuse from people saying that it didn't exist but I can assure you that this item is real, it's just something I bought as a long time SC fan, I used to collect everything I could get my hands on! If you are interested in buying please do, you won't be disappointed and I will accept returns if you're not happy with what you receive. You can see from my feedback that I don't mess around and take pride in offering a good level of service.
I'll give you all the info I can in this listing. There are no catalogue numbers etched on the vinyl and it's really odd because both this 12" and the old 10" I had are pressed strangely, the run in groove doesn't start until approximately 1 inch in from the start of the vinyl. Other than that, the record plays as it should, the 4 tracks play as per the original 7" and the quality is excellent. There are some slight hairline marks to the surface which don't affect play. I myself only played it a few times and it was stored as part of my collection. Again, the centre labels mirror the original 7".
The thick gloss paper cover is in excellent condition, virtually mint. It follows the original 7" and even wraps around the back and looks really nice.
This is a really nice item and it's time for it to go to someone else who'll now find it of more use than I do.
