Description

LK4605 an original pressing on the UK Unboxed Decca lable from May 1969. Record weight 155 grams. No deep groove apparent and the label layout is consistent with a 1969 version. Inner sleeve states date of manufacture as May 1969. The record comes housed in its original MacNeill printed cover. Vinyl (Ex++) Remains in amazing condition and shiny like the day it came off the press. Under close inspection I can only see one ultra light mark and I mean it is very, very, light indeed. As is quite obvious from the record label shots of this record it has only been played a small number of times. Needless to say this is very unusual for a record of this age and popularity. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an, at least, EXCELLENT+ level of playback from beginning to end. It is without doubt the best rendition I have ever heard of this album, but also most probably the best playback I have ever heard from a vintage record - full stop. There is absolutely no back ground interference even when turned up on high volume. The noise floor is very very low. The instrument separation is absolutely excellent and the clarity is so good I can hear sounds I'd not encountered on this LP before. Please rest assured if you purchase this LP you will be guaranteed an amazing level of playback. Cover (Ex) Again has been well cared for and does not exhibit the usual wear and tear that so often afflicts these covers. The front is beautifully shiny and only suffers slightly in the top right hand corner where a couple of light creases are evident. The rear is nice and white and does not appear to have faded at all. There are one or two very minor blemishes, but they are very low-level. All seams are 100% intact, the spine is 100% intact, and there's almost no edgewear to speak of at all. Again, very difficult to find an original copy in this kind of condition. Small scratch on carol which is hidden in the loud song... VERY RARE LP!!!
