7" ACETATE TEST SINGLE:
RARE RARE RARE! Single-sided acetate (lacquer-covered metal disc) used for quality control or promotional use - due to cost, usually made in very small numbers (maybe ten or under?) "So Wrong" was issued in the UK on the Brunswick label (and that cat. no. is written on the label 05874 - along with release date 17th August) so this was likely part of the quality control part of the manufacturing process (Brunswick produced demo copies of the track on vinyl).
Other side of the disc is blank and has a blank blue Decca Group label.
A possibly unique item which will be a great addition to any Patsy Cline, country or early rock'n'roll collector's collection.
GRADING: VG (disc / cover)
DESCRIPTION: Disc has light scuffs and marks, there's some light rubbing on the very edge with tiny amount of metal base showing, but not affecting the run-in grooves. Acetate plays with light background crackle (and light groove distortion) - I presume this is the regular released version, so buyer will want this as a collection item rather than to play. I haven't even tried to clean, as different people have different methods when cleaning acetates (distilled water being a favourite). Labels are excellent. Supplied in new white cover.
