Description
Out of print four LP box set from Mosaic, The Complete Black Lion And Vogue Recordings of Thelonious Monk, released in Mosaic’s usual deluxe box with detailed book and audiophile-grade vinyl pressings (MR4-112). The only indication that this box is special beyond most is the inside front page of the booklet, which notes the hand-numbered issue of this box is number “x” of 7500 and is reserved “For Dan Morgenstern” (the famed American jazz critic). Otherwise, all parts – box, book and LPs – are in near mint condition, except for one small mark on track four, side five that makes that side a strong VG++.
