- Early-1970s promo split-release on the following labels:
- BUENA SUERTE RECORDS (#937 -- TEMPLE, TEXAS, US)
- TEXAS RECORDS (#937 -- AUSTIN, TEXAS, US)
- ROCKY HERNANDEZ was a pivotal member of THE LATINAIRES/LA FAMILIA INC along with brothers LITTLE JOE HERNANDEZ and JOHNNY HERNANDEZ.
- ROY MONTELONGO founded the above label TEXAS RECORDS and recorded for numerous labels including BEGO -- BUENA SUERTE -- CERTRON -- DISCO GRANDE -- DISCOS JOEY -- EL ZARAPE -- FALCON -- FREDDIE -- KEY-LOC -- ROSINA -- TEAR DROP -- TEXAS -- TEXAS STAR -- VALMON.
- VINYL: Vinyl is visually a strong VG on the SECURITY side (shiny high-gloss wax with a very long visible hairline running parallel with the grooves and a short hairline, both of which do not seem to affect anything) and a strong VG+ on the LA YERBA MALA side (shiny high-gloss wax with a few faint light superficial scuff markings and a few short hairlines here and there not appearing to affect anything) -- disc plays nicely (with perhaps some very faint light static and such here and there -- see clip!).
- LABELS: Labels are EXCELLENT on the SECURITY side (with a promo stamp, a noted scuff line, some light spindle-type markings, and some small dot stains) and a nice VG+ on the LA YERBA MALA side (with some scuff wear/rub wear).
