Description

 Kolob/Mercury SRM-1-3766 vinyl LP test pressing (1979)    Osmonds  Steppin' Out    (title)/Emily/You're Mine/Baby's Back/Love on the Line//Rainin'/I'I'I'/Love Ain't An Easy Thing/Hold On/Rest Your Love (wr. Barry Gibb)    Produced by Maurice Gibb and Steve Klein

Disc is on VG++ condition. Come in plain sleeve, with original information photocopy sheet insert (see scan).

This is a "white label" (the labels here are actually blue-green) test pressing, sent out directly from the pressing plant to parties directly concerned with the release (artist, producer, label, publisher, distributor) to check for quality in mastering and pressing. They are extremely limited in number and prized by collectors.

Labels read "Advance Promotional  Columbia Records  Pitman, New Jersey" (location of the pressing plant). The letter "A" is written in red pen to mark the A side of the LP.
