THE ZOMBIES "Begin Here" (Decca LK 4679) original UK 1965 MONO 1st pressing (red/silver label)
CLASSIC BEAT ALBUM! No introduction needed, just an all-time classic album - original first press (deep groove label), with laminated sleeve (printed by Robert Stace).

CONDITION : VG/FAIR (Sleeve/Record)
DESCRIPTION : Cutting straight to the chase, there's something wrong with the vinyl. Now, when I bought this record I was told it had a warp but it played fine. It doesn't... I think it once had a warp and someone has tried to fix the warp by heating it up or something - because the first 4 tracks on each side don't play. The needle doesn't go up and down, it goes towards the centre and back. SO... on Side A the last 3 tracks play ("Work'n'Play", "You've Really Got A Hold On me" and "She's Not There") and on Side B the last 3 tracks play ("I Remember When I Loved Her", "What More Can I Do" and "I Got My Mojo Working") - but the start of each side is a no-no! Labels are fine. The sleeve shows some wear - there's lamination creasing on the front - and the back has become yellow with age - with an original record shop rubber stamp at the top. SO... a collection filler until a mint copy turns up at a carboot sale. Or you just want a sleeve. Or just a copy of the record for the collection... Nice copies sell for £300+

SMALL PRINT : I am first and foremost a collector, and grade strictly as I wish everyone would. Records will be well-packed between cardboard, and sent in record mailers. In the interests of the environment, these will be recycled whenever possible. Albums will be removed from outer sleeve to avoid seam splits in transit. All records are sent with a certificate of posting, if you wish additional insurance please ask – I cannot be held responsible for missing parcels.
