Label:   GeNEVA.  (Detroit).   Label is orange with black text.  Stereo pressing on medium thick vinyl.  Catalog number is ST-GE-101. 

Year:  1974.

Personnel:    Johnny Griffith – electric piano;  Will Austin – bass;  Roderick (Peanut) Chandler – bass;  Richard (Pistol) Allen – drums;  Floyd Jones – trumpet;  Earl Thomas – guitar;  Robert White – guitar.

Note:  Very rare and killer private press LP out of Detroit by longtime MoTowN session musician Johnny Griffith on electric piano, backed by two bassists, drums, two electric guitarists, and trumpet.  This is the soundtrack to the underground blaxploitation film, “The Connection.” 

Condition: 

DISC:  Vinyl is EXCELLENT with 100% of original gloss, appears to have been played a very small number of times and handled with care.  There are a few slight paper scuffs, not audible, no serious marks or problems.  Fidelity is superb.  Labels are clean.  You will be hard pressed to find a nicer sounding copy.

JACKET:   Jacket is VG with obvious signs of wear and handling, but still quite serviceable.   At each of the corners there is some minor damage due to moisture.  Also, there are seam splits at the top right (4 inches) and bottom right (3 inches).  Otherwise clean, with no writing or stickers.  Not the nicest jacket, but probably acceptable for most collectors given the rarity and gorgeous condition of the vinyl.  As with all my records, your satisfaction is fully guaranteed.
