Artist: BOREALIS
Title: SONS OF THE SEA
Label: Audat 477-9025
Condition: Vinyl looks nice VG to VG+. Glossy with scuffs and minor general wear. Plays clean in the loud spots with an occasional tick in the soft passages. The exception is the track "Tomorrow Morning" which has a small scratch or two, causing a number of more noticeable pops in the softer beginning and middle sections of the song.
Cover is FAIR to GOOD. The main problem is that the bottom flap had come unglued and there are cellophane tape remnants from a long ago "repair" attempt. Instead of simply regluing or, at least, taping along the edge, strips of tape were applied up and down, around the seam. The tape itself has been removed but it left a dried, brownish adhesive residue on front and back. The bottom seam remains unglued. There is also a partially removed sticker and residue in upper left corner and a bit of dried sticker residue in upper right. There is also some wear and fraying along the seams and spine along with some wrinkles and creases around the edges.
Original pressing of this Canadian psychedelic / progressive LP. Aside from some noise in the one track mentioned above, the vinyl sounds great with full, loud & clear fidelity. Despite the flaws and low grade, the cover is still presentable and not completely "trashed".
