Auction is for a VERY RARE ORIGINAL CANADIAN ONLY PRESSING of PAUL BAILLARGEON & DEAN MORGAN'S "LOVE IN A 4 LETTER WORLD (VIENS MON AMOUR) SOUNDTRACK" LP from 196? on Gap Records. INCREDIBLY RARE, OBSCURE & IN-DEMAND French Canadian PSYCH FUNK gem! The BEST FRENCH CANADIAN SOUNDTRACK, imo... Words cannot describe the mind-melting bliss contained within these grooves but I'll attempt it anyways... "CAGO 9 (INSTRUMENTAL)" would have to be my favorite cut by far... a PSYCHEDELIC FUNK NUGGET with extremely HARD & SNAPPING DRUMS & BREAKS (for the producers...), HEAVY FUZZ guitar and wild MOOG synth filled out with some funky horn orchestration... when I first got this album I listened to this track half a dozen times straight... it's that good! Another KILLER would be the short but unbelievable FUNKY FUZZ FREAKBEAT instrumental workout entitled "HARIZAP".... loads of FUZZ with a heavy bottom end.... HARD DRUMS, loud & rolling bassline.... my only complaint is that it ends too early... the last track worth some serious mention is "MOOG-OVER"... it opens with only a MOOG wildly creating soundscapes that get layered upon with a FUNKY bassline and a POPPING DRUM BREAK.... PSYCHEDELIC MOOG MADNESS! There are some other burners on the LP but as far as my tastes go these are the real gems.... "SUSAN'S RIDE" is a nice ez bossa groover.... regardless this is one of the BEST & RAREST of CANADIAN SOUNDTRACKS filled with SAMPLES & BREAKS... if you haven't heard it then you must.... Unfortunately the visual condition of the LP is not the greatest at VG- but it's pressed on nice deep grooves and overall plays alot better then it looks.... plays a strong VG for the most part with very light noise here and there... tough LP to find in any shape and still a GOOD PLAY COPY!
Condition of the Vinyl/Cover is VG- / VG+, w/ slight shelf wear & sticker residue at top left of front & top right of back cover.
