Description

For sale today is a 1972 tribute album to Meher Baba by Pete Townshend. This LP is the second of three tributes to Baba, first one was recorded in 1970 called Happy Birthday, second i am 1972, and third was With Love in 1976. This album is the rarest of the three and almost impossible to find. The most notable attribute of this album is that it contains the original version of Baba O'Riley, coming in at 9minutes 48 secs.This is a killer track and the rest of the lp is quite enjoyable.Other musicians on the album include Billy Nichols, Mike Da Costa,Hank Midlin,Dave Hastilow, and the late great Ronnie Lane.It was released on Towser Tunes Records MBO-2.
