Private press from the small town of Morteau in the East of France.
Featuring Pierre Marguet, lead singer from The Wikings and Pilou ( Le Kiosque d'orphee ).
This is a later style, from the early-70s. More Funky than 1960s Beat. Male vocals accompanied by funk organs, horns and drums. Three breakdowns that sound like a Wu-tang banger in the making or something Public Enemy would snatch from The JB's.
I'm pretty sure you'll never see this again!
All records come with fresh new plastic sleeves and will be mailed in professional packaging with stiffeners.
Condition
I grade my records under bright light so that there is complete correlation between how the record looks and how it sounds.
Vinyl: EX. Music plays loud bright and clear. No surface-noise. Under bright light vinyl is still very glossy and shows just sleeve-removal marks. No scuffs or scratches. Plays through brilliantly both sides. Labels look like they were pressed yesteerday and show no spindle-marks.
Cover: VG+. Very stiff and strong. Bold print. Corners and edges all still straight and sharp. No edge-wear. Just a touch of corner-wear. Some light marks on the white. Nice sleeve.
I visit the post office everyday, so if you're in the UK and want your record tomorrow, just get your order in before 16:00 GMT and choose one of the 1st class postage options and it usually arrives next morning. ( Europe delivery 3 days. Rest of the world delivery 1 week.)
