-----Halloween 2021-----

Greetings, my fellow music nerds, snobs, hipsters and ghouls.

We’re getting spooky AF for October over at Nugroove HQ! 

Plan on checking out our “Shop of Horrors” thru the month for all sorts ghoulish grooves and terrifying tunes. And um, like ahhhh IDK… scary sounds? I’m sorry, that one was bad.  I’ll just cool it with the puns and alliteration for a bit. 

Still, CHECK OUT THE SHOP! for all sorts of wax that’s true to the Halloween spirit and a perfect soundtrack for that autumn feel.

Or the perfect soundtrack for anyone who, let’s say, has an inherited a countryside mansion from an estranged and mysterious great uncle on the sole stipulation they spend an entire evening there without fleeing the grounds until sunrise (one call to “Dr. Feelgood”  and their assistant “Nurse Xanie” made that the best night of sleep in my life). 

Expect not just some novelty Halloween tunes for all you graveyard ragers but also a lot of weird and obscure releases that are a little less “on the nose.” We are talking about acid soaked occult biker psych,  Italo synth-wave afro breaks horror theme, groovy beatnik monster rock, apocalyptic after-party  freak funk boogie, and more genres we just made up a few minutes ago. Not just Bobby “Boris” Pickett wannabes.

So stay tuned all month long as we plunder the crypts and dig up tunes from artists who don’t fit in with the mainstream; those who during their time were viewed as an outsider, an amateur, a loner, an eccentric, a rebel,  as being transgressive, or shocking,  or a punk, or an anarchist, or as a member of the counter-culture. 

Because what is HALLOWEEN other than a celebration of the weirdos! 

A month to embrace those who don’t fit in with “proper society”!

A season for those whose values don’t align with all the “Normies” out there, the “9 to 5ers”, the Cul-De-Sac suburbanites, the true monsters who watch CBS or Young Sheldon, and the Karen Krews who make up the membership of Mainstream America and keep creatively-stifling values and judgmental beliefs alive. 

But I gotta go, I just saw a shadowy figure silently glide by my window. It must be my neighbor bringing over a ladder. Because I am typing from my second floor bedroom. 

Weird, though, because last time I saw my neighbor, I don’t remember his face being so completely featureless other then a disturbingly wide smile lined with multiple rows of razor-blade like teeth. But he probably heard about all the blood that my walls have been bleeding and just came over to help.

International SHIPPING 1-3 7”s/45s COSTS AROUND $12-16 USD - Cost is the price of postage. Varies per country. I do not charge more than actual postage fees. International shipping of orders with 12”/LPs starts at $21-25.

USPS is my preferred shipping method but other services/couriers (DHL, etc.) can be arranged but may come with a fee. Message me first to arrange shipping other than USPS.

Grading, Shipping and Returns

I try to grade conservatively and I adapt this conservative approach to Goldmine Standards but I do use EX and VG- when needed because I feel Goldmine grading is not descriptive enough compared to any other grading system and not always descriptive enough.  NM basically looks and sounds like a mint album while EX would look like a mint or near mint album with maybe one superficial mark or light scuff/hairline or the briefest lightest spot of surface noise or one or two light pops thru both sides.  I also try to provide well-recorded audio samples of the exact item for sale.  You can hear the grade before buying but I promise you won't be disappointed.

When shipping, I use new professional LP or 45 mailers along with sturdy inserts.  Every item will come in a clear plastic outer sleeve, the media will be removed from the sleeve and any included inner sleeve and placed into a new white inner sleeve to prevent seam splits. 

I accept returns up to 30  days and to put any fears of a new seller to bed, I will pay for return shipping. If you have any questions or concerns, message me and I will respond promptly.
