Description

Imperial Music Minder record cabinet and records

Timber cabinet made in Michigan USA

This record cabinet is from the 50's or 60's has been in my family since I can remember.
It has been stored a while now and the cabinet has a few marks and scratches but is still a nice piece of furniture and will clean up well.
It has a revolving record holding mechanism in good working order and holds up to 200 records, 50 on each of four sides. and has a catalogue system with labels etc.
It is being sold with the current collection of about 140 records. The records are nearly all orchestral music, London symphony etc. Pieces from Bach, Verdi, Beethoven, Rachmaninoff, Puccini, Mozart, Schubert, Strauss and some other stuff. I've looked at a few of these and they don't look in the best of condition with a few scratches etc but they may be of interest to someone.
All the records are stored in the built in holder and don't have any additional sleeves or album covers. The cabinet is quite compact but with all the records is pretty heavy. Pick up is from Manly, NSW.
