on his own "charles mingus" records label, from 1965. tracks. this is a very special item. issued on his own label, and, from what i've read, distributed by himself and his wife, comes this very early issue of one of his rarest lp's. sent out (see post-mark in photo) prior to it's release (most sources say 1966) without a cover...i'm assuming because the covers were not done yet! comes in it's original shipping box, with awesome mingus records logo (again, see photo). perhaps a one of a kind, i don't think you'll see this opportunity again. box is in excellent condition, for having gone through the mail, with only some light tearing near address, a light corner dent, and some light creasing. vinyl is NM-, except for record 2, side A which has a mark in "orange was the color of her dress, then blue silk" which causes a light click for about 4 minutes. vinyl has been cleaned on a VPI. check out my other auctions for a great batch of rare records (and a few rare compact discs as well), many genres represented. all records are original pressings unless noted. all records are shipped in dedicated record mailers, with cardboard inserts. email with any questions. i accept paypal and money orders only. buyer pays shipping. shipping will be determined at end of auction, as this item will have to be double boxed and will not fit in a standard record mailer....i will charge actual shipping costs. please note that i will not ship surface overseas. thanks for looking and good luck.
