Description
Bob Marley and the Wailers Catch a Fire vinyl lp. Condition is "Used". Dispatched with Royal Mail. If I was spending this amount on a vinyl album I would like to know it's history. So here we go, I bought this album in 1974 from a local record store and it's never left my home in all of those years. For the majority of that time the album as been stored in a plastic sleeve which can be seen in 2 of the pictures, there are some edge wear to the cover , the flip cover still works although the front hole is worn so that the revit no longer sits in the hole, but opens as it should. Considering its age the cover is in excellent condition. The most important detail is the vinyl itself. This is in MINT condition ! Back in the day when I bought a new album I would copy it onto a cassette tape so I could play it in the car etc hence the album as hardly been played. I can confidently confirm in the 47 years I have owned the album it's only been played on a turntable 20 times roughly, if that many. Like all my vinyl collection its been handled with care and put straight back paper sleeve after use and stored in a dry cupboard. It's not been played for 20+ years ever since I started collecting cd's. Part of me doesn't want to part with it but I do not see the point of just looking at it. It can be collected or I can post at cost to the buyer which would be tracked and signed for. So there you go, I have been as honest as possible and I don't think there are many copies available that can be vouched for as mine. I have watched other auctions for price comparison and decided to do a buy now so if you want it without getting involved in a bidding war its there to buy. Any questions please ask.
