Description

super 3rd state of the beatles lp  yesterday and today butcher cover on capitol t-2553.this  is a high quality 3rd state out of my personal collection i have had this for over 20 years and i have never had it peeled to remove trunk slick,i aquired the cover with the slick on,but over the years the underneath glue dryed  and was only stuck on to underneath butcher cover in 3 areas,it finally came completelty off with a little help but the trunk slick received alittle damage near pauls face, and small tear..the under neath buthcer slick escaped completely clean of any damage and has maybe a hand full of small glue spots you can feel if you run your hand over slick,no areas of the butcher cover was ripped off.if looking straight at cover you cannot see any residue at all..seams are all there small damage near top opening about 1/2 inch in.one corner has a dink..trunk slick didnot shrink because it was not peeld by chemicals..i repeat this was not peeled by chemicals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!..trunk slick still fits perfectly over butcher cover.cover is 12 1/4 inches square...back cover has age yellowing...original vinly lp and inner sleeve included  riaa #3 scranton east coast pressing.. ..clean 3rd state covers are hard to come by even great peeled 3rd state covers..this is investment grade and you won't be sorry..i put reserve on cover, since higher so called chemical peeled 3rd states are fetching 1300.00 or  more..i personally would never peel or have a 2nd stated peeled because they getting hard to find, but with this cover this was a natural i guess you can say self peel job due to bad job of pasting trunk slick..some pics i used a flash this is reason for miscolor of front and back cover looking whiter...and before i get any emails..east coast pressing butcher covers had more of red pixel hue to it near left side above pauls head this is not caused by chemical reaction from peeling like people are claiming you can even see this red hue in sealed covers!!!!!!!!...again one more time this slick was not peeled with any chemicals in any way!!!!!!!!!!
