Very rare contract pressing from the Decca factory for this seminal Beatles album. It’s not a perfect copy but it does play well.
The cover has creasing but no writing stickers or tears. Spine is fully legible - it is the 1st issue mid-aligned apple cover - no parlophone sticker on the rear. Could easily be upgraded.
The vinyl is generally in very good condition apart from one deep scratch and one light scratch. The lighter one only causes a light intermittent click. The deepest one in ‘ come together’ causes a click all the way through the track. It does not skip or stick. The record otherwise plays quite clean. This is a rare variation of this album. Rare enough to get it in parlophone, but a parlophone / Decca press is near impossible.
I’ll grade the record at fair condition because of this.
The labels have small writing on both labels in the white of the £ sign.
