About This Record. Here's the second of my velvet underground vinyl for sale. A first pressing stereo Torso gatefold copy of the Velvet Underground's first LP featuring Nico and Lou Reed. The banana is peeled, but this is NOT the airbrushed Stereo version, or the later stickered over stereo version. These are tough to find, and this one is pretty nice as these things go. On Verve Records, blue labels of course since this is from the USA. I only sell vinyl on eBay so bid with confidence and SEE MY PHOTOS please! I will be selling more of this same LP, and maybe start on the Beatles second LP soon! The photos list the songs and any possible details about the labels, except the matrix numbers which I provide below or upon request. I will be selling other vinyl ending on the same day, maybe even earlier, or my gosh, later, that I will be listing over the next few days. Keep your eyes out!

Cover Condition. Nice VG condition TORSO cover. The Torso is not airbrushed off like in the third pressings, and there is no giant sticker covering it like in slightly later second pressings! Peeled banana, Original RARE Stereo Torso back cover. The top seams in the gatefold are split 3 inches and one inch. There is noticeabl browning/age marks on right side of the LP cover where it opens, and some noticeable ring wear top and bottom of front cover and back cover. Some corner wear with minor splitting there at corners. PLEASE zoom in on the photos I took.
Vinyl Condition. Looks VG- with noticeable paper marks and light scuffs. Plays nice VG/better with light background noise here and there throughout, as these pressings were very noisey, some noise intended! No major issues like skips, jumps, sticks etc., of course.
Labels EX- better; noticeable spindle marks on the labels, but not much spindle wear, and no other noteable issues like tears, tape, writing, nope! This a survivor. Pretty nice.
Innsersleeve. This comes cleaned on my VPI record cleaning machine in a new rice paper or similar sleeve and the plain paper sleeve this LP inhabited when I purchased it. See photos;
About Me. I have been a Record Collector for Decades. I bought this many years ago during my travels and have kept it well-preserved in plastic sleeves and vinyl separated outside the cover.
