FROM/FOR THE 1964 MOVIE LOOKING FOR LOVE In which Connie Francis stars.
Francis plays Libby Caruso, who has spent a whole month trying to get into show
business with her singing, and hasn't succeed. Libby then decides to retire and get
a job where she can meet the right man and get married. She is interested in pursuing
Paul Davis (Jim Hutton), who she meets in the supermarket, but Paul is not interested.[2]
Libby later creates a clothes stand she calls the "Lady Valet". This product interests Paul
who wants to promote it. Paul gets Libby on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson to
push her products. When Libby mentions that she was formerly a singer, Carson asks her
to sing. Libby's singing career takes off, and Paul then becomes interested in Libby. Libby
then changes her mind and falls for a young grocer (Joby Baker). Paul then decides to pursue
Libby's roommate, Jan (Susan Oliver).[1]
Cast[edit]
Much of the supporting cast is from Francis' first screen role, Where the Boys Are (1960). A few celebrity cameos also appear, including Johnny Carson, Danny Thomas, Paula Prentiss, George Hamilton and Yvette Mimieux.[1] This film was Johnny Carson's first film cameo.[3]

NM (Near Mint): Record and cover appear virtually unmarked.
VG++: Looks & plays just under near mint, may have just a very few visual marks
VG+ : Used but not abused. Will likely have some relatively slight audible imperfections.
VG : Many only surface lines or may have a minor scratch .Some background sound but still enjoyable.
VG-: significant background sound from various defects but music always quite audible above it.
Under VG- I rarely list unless it is something really special.
VJM 78 GRADING SCALE
N:As new and unplayed (there are virtually no 78s that can
categorically be claimed to be unplayed).
N-:Nearly New, but has been played. No visible signs of wear or damage.
E+:Plays like new, with very, very few signs of handling, such as tiny
scuffs from being slipped in and out of sleeves.
E : Excellent. Still very shiny, near new looking, with no visible signs
of wear, but a few inaudible scuffs and scratches.
E-:Still shiny but without the luster of a new record, few light scratches.
V+ :is an average condition 78 in which scuffs and general use has dulled
the finish somewhat. Wear is moderate but playing is generally free from
distortion. Surface noise not overly pronounced.
V : Very Good Moderate, even wear throughout, but still very playable
. Surface noise and scratches audible but not intrusive.
V- :Quite playable still, but distortion and heavy greying in loud passages.
Music remains loud in most passages. Surface noise and scratches well
below music level.
G+: Grey throughout but still serviceable. Music begins to sound muffled.
Heavy scratches.
G : Good Quite seriously worn and scratched, but music level is still
higher than surface noise.
G- ; F ; and P
The VJM system has these designations for records in extremely poor condition.

depending on the weight that a tone arm is set at or the quality of the stylus
what is just a pop on one player can sometimes be a skip on another
