Description

Zoot Sims        Cookin'       mono    UK Fontana FJL 123  

Zoot Sims (ts), Stan Tracy (p), Kenny Napper (b), Jackie Dougan (d) and one track w/ Ronnie Scott (ts), Jimmy Deuchar (t) Recorded 1961 

 The record looks and plays VG++. There's a tiny light scratch on side 1 that causes 3 or 4 light ticks.  A few light scuffs on each side which do not affect play.  Record plays quietly and well.  Grooves do not show wear or damage.  

AUDIO CLIPS ARE BELOW OF THE ACTUAL RECORD BEING AUCTIONED.  THREE FROM EACH SIDE--BEGINNING, MIDDLE AND END.       

 The cover is VG+.  

    The front cover is glossy and looks nice with moderate wear and some light ring wear. The laminate is bubbling at the bottom near the pocket.  The back cover has moderate wear and ring wear. Corners at the pocket are dented.  Top seam is starting to split app 1 inch at the pocket but has not come apart.  Spots of wear at the corners. Spine is intact and readable.  

Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on record.

 My highest grade is M- and I rarely grade 50s or 60s records M-. Records are graded visually using the Goldmine system. M-, VG++, VG+, VG, VG- etc. I play grade any potential problem areas.  I attempt to grade conservatively, listing all significant flaws. You will be satisfied.  No hassles.
