1968 UK 1st *STEREO* PRESSING LP
A beautiful example of a UK 1st STEREO pressing on the untextured orange & black CBS label: S 63280
Housed in a front laminated, non-flipback 'Ernest J. Day' printed cover with the 'gold' stereo sticker adhered to the rear panel.
This copy comes complete with its original black & white printed CBS advertising inner-sleeve.

An extremely clean & vivid set with only a small handful of spindle marks to each centre hole but no other signs of wear whatsoever.
Visual: 1. NEAR MINT 2. EXCELLENT
Both surfaces of this well looked-after copy are perfectly clean & bright and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shines with no clouding or dulling from careless handling or incorrect storage. Side 1 is 'as new' and totally unmarked in strong daylight. Side 2 displays a few insignificnant light marks on track 1, side 2 but these do not interfere with the audio. Close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals little more than a sparkling rainbow gloss and one or two wispy hairlines, but no further marks or blemishes anywhere. Both sides lie 100% flat on the turntable with no signs of dishing or warping.
Play: EXCELLENT
This copy has clearly received just a handful of careful plays on good quality equipment and is free from any groove/play wear throughout. My careful playcheck at volume uncovered just an occasional light tick in a few of the quieter passages & a touch of light background between tracks, but certainly nothing to spoil the wonderful sound or enjoyment of this oustanding, barely played copy. You will not be disappointed.

EXCELLENT
This vibrant example has been carefully and correctly stored in non-smoking conditions these past 41 years and displays no significant or major signs of wear throughout.The front panel laminate is extremely clean & glossy with only a single bend towards the lower right corner but no 'thumbnails' or any other major faults. All corners are clean & unbumped and both opening edges are sharp & undamaged. The unlaminated rear panel has a few small areas or storagewear rubbing & a faint water stain along part of the upper edge. However there is no writing or missing paper anywhere. Both seams are smooth & unstressed and the spine is clean, white & perfectly worded with no damage or wear anywhere along its length.
