Uncovered in the out back of N.S.W. this record is part of a recent collection stored and unplayed for the last 20 years. Collected during the 90's and mostly sourced from overseas kept in a cool dry cellar there are some tasty gems on offer and we look forward to listing them over the next few months. All records have been professionally cleaned and play tested and graded conservatively.

Odessey and Oracle was one of the flukiest (and best) albums of the 1960s, and one of the most enduring long players to come out of the entire British psychedelic boom, mixing trippy melodies, ornate choruses, and lush Mellotron sounds with a solid hard rock base. But it was overlooked completely in England and barely got out in America (with a big push by Al Kooper, who was then a Columbia Records producer); and it was neglected in the U.S. until the single "Time of the Season," culled from the album, topped the charts nearly two years after it was recorded, by which time the group was long disbanded.

Tracks : Care of cell 44/ A rose for Emily/ Maybe after he's gone/ Beechwood park/ Brief candles/ Hung up on a dream/ Changes/ I want her she wants me/ This will be our year/ Butchers tale/ (Western front 1914)/ Friends of mine/ Time of the season.

There are some light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks and a few very light scratches that cause some light crackles in parts and is in Excellent condition. Cover has some ring wear, light marks, light scuffing on corners, a small crease mark on bottom right corner and some tiny surface tears around edges and is in VG+ condition.

Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.

Post methods within Australia: All records are posted via Australia Post. Within Australia all items come with a tracking number.
