Description
Here is a beautiful copy of the super rare 1975 self-titled LP by the legendary Zipper, Fred Cole's post-Lollipop Shoppe and pre-Dead Moon band! This is likely the cleanest copy you'll ever see -- from what I can tell, after eyeing the vinyl, it may never have been played before. There are no tell-tale 'trails' around the hole in the center that are left from finding the post on a turntable, and the vinyl itself is immaculate, with no signs of wear.
The cover is also in excellent shape, showing a bit of ringwear, otherwise looking like new. These (only 500 were made if I remember right) were handmade by Fred Cole and bandmates, the first release on Cole's own Whizeagle Records. The covers are two 12" sheets of glossy photo paper, taped together on three sides with electrician's tape(!), the the edges are in excellent shape.
Of the nine songs on the LP, Cole had his hands in all the writing, with 6 tunes penned by him alone. The songs (as heard elsewhere) are blazing, Zeppelin/garage-influence rockers. The line-up is Fred Cole - vocals, Greg Shadoan -- bass, Jim Roos -- guitar, and Lorry Erk -- drums. Classic!
This is not a reissue -- this is the real thing! As stated before, this copy is as clean as you could ever hope to come across!
Shipping will be actual cost of your choice of method, though I REQUIRE Delivery Confirmation in the US ($0.65) or a Certificate of Mailing ($1.05) in Europe, elsewhere.
