Bowing with a strong set of songs, a harder sound, bluesier rhythms, enhanced interplay, and dirtier tones, Rio Grande Mud put ZZ Top on the map to stay. Featuring two songs sung by bassist Dusty Hill, attention-getting boogie shuffles, and a river of rousing guitar riffs by Billy Gibbons, the record swaggers and sways, and places you in the midst of the thrilling up-and-coming feeling of a group that refused to be stopped. Mastered from the original analog master tapes, and pressed on 180-gram vinyl, the LP includes the classics “Just Got Paid” and “Francine.” TRES HOMBRES Tres Hombres is the record that brought ZZ Top their first Top Ten record, making them stars in the process. It couldn't have happened to a better record. This 1973 masterpiece from everyone's favorite Texas tornadoes, is mastered from the original analog tapes, and pressed on 180-gram HQ vinyl and features all original packaging. Highlights include “La Grange,” “Jesus Just Left Chicago,” and “Waitin' For The Bus.” With their revved up blues 'n' boogie, ZZ Top always make the most of their Texas birthright with a distinctive sound that shakes up rock, blues, soul, garage-funk, Americana, and more. DEGUELLO After taking some time off after 1976's Tejas, ZZ Top returned rejuvenated and reenergized with Degüello, a strong start-to-finish set that checked in as the trio's finest effort since 1973's breakthrough Tres Hombres.
