SUPER rare UK Mono 1st Pressing on the Fontana Label in amazing condition throughout.
Recorded live at Ronnie Scott's on November 13-15, 1961.
With: Stan Tracy – piano; Kenny Napper – bass; Jackie Dougan – drums.
"Desperation" recorded with Zoot, Ronnie Scott, Jimmy Deuchar – trumpet, and the same rhythm section.

GRADING
SLEEVE: EX+
The sleeve is practically perfect. The unlaminated rear is impossibly clean and white looking like it has never seen the light of day. No staining or scuffing, no discolouration or shading, really wonderful. The laminated front is similarly clean with just a couple of factory pressed laminate wrinkles at the opening (see photo). The edges and spine are beautifully sharp and straight with no wear. The spine is perfect. The aperture is clean and sharp with no feathering. Beautiful.
RECORD: EX+
The heavy weight vinyl is in amazing condition. Lovely and glossy with no hairlines or scratches. Under very bright light there are a couple of entirely innocuous and very fine sleeve removal marks. You would be hard pushed to find a better copy of this hard bop classic.
The above record grading is based on Record Collector magazine system:
NEAR MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
