The Zombies Odessey and Oracle import LP Vinyl LP Reissue of 1969 Classic! Rolling Stone 500 Greatest Albums of All Time - Rated 100/500!
The second studio album from The Zombies, released in 1969 in the U.S., was mainly recorded between June and August 1967 at Abbey Road and Olympic Studios. The single "Time Of the Season" was release and became a surprise hit in early 1969.
In 2012, the album was ranked 100/500 on the Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time.
"Odessey and Oracle wasn't released in the U.S. until 1969 - two years after it was recorded and the Zombies had broken up. But its baroque psychedelic-pop arrangements still felt fresh - combining the adventure of Sgt. Pepper with the concision of British Invasion pop.
