This edition has a paper taped to the front stating: "Zero Boys: Vicous Circle Six years ago, this was state of the art midwest (Indianapolis specifically) hardcore punk. This is a reissue of something considered a formative classic in the genre, with six bonus cuts not on the original pressing. And it holds up because Paul Mahem sings-shouts with such snotty authority, because there's not so much emphasis on ideology (none, really) as much as just a bunch of guys baring their souls in public about everything from national poverty to stealing mom's wallet. There are real hooks here. Most of all, though, and forgive me if this sounds nostalgic (and nostalgia is the last commodity hardcore needs), but there's an innocence about this. They listened to their Ramones, Stiff Little Fingers, Stooges and Posh Boy records, got inspired, formed a band, and maybe the only way they realized they could change the world with their music was to bring a little more cathartic pleasure into the lives of those who heard them. Purchased Brand New in a record store and this is UNPLAYED. Still in Original Shrink Wrap with one end open to access album. Has a Hype/Info Sticker taped on to Shrink Wrap. It a 1987 reissue with 6 bonus cuts and the Pomona label address. It also has a Toxic Shock two-sided merchandise form included.
Cover on front bottom left has a tiny "dent" and there is a rougher area on the album access edge. It has a nice spine with lettering very close to centered (see pictures). A very nice specimen.
Toxic Shock two-sided merchandise form has a couple of borderline creasing on one side and one corner (see pictures). In great shape.
Inner paper sleeve has no rips, splits or tears. Minimal wrinkling and discoloration from age. One flap is lifted up slightly (see pictures). In really nice shape.
Vinyl is UNPLAYED with vinyl and labels being PRISTEEN.

Similar to Zero Boys - Vicious Circle but with different, earlier Toxic Shock address Pomona (this version) rather than Tucson.

The Zero Boys are an American hardcore punk quartet from Indianapolis, Indiana fronted by Paul Mahem that debuted in 1980. Other members include bassist Scott Kellogg, drummer Mark Cutsinger and guitarist Dave Lawson. The band was known as one of the few popular hardcore bands from the Midwest, as the scene was mostly dominated by bands from the coasts.

 Their debut full-length album, Vicious Circle, was released in 1982 with its distinctive bright yellow cover on the local label Nimrod Records. The band embarked on a 1982 "Hell Tour" with one notable appearance at The Barn in Torrance, CA, on a bill with Dead Kennedys, MDC, and Minor Threat.

Vicious Circle was reissued on Toxic Shock later in the 1980s, with added bonus tracks taken from the Affirmation Records compilations LPs The Master Tape and The Master Tapes 2.
