Mega Rare ZAPPA 2 LP Early Bootleg Set of Colored Vinyl on TMOQ (Trade Mark of Quality, with the Pig Labels)
1 )"200 Motels" (Frank Zappa and The Mothers of Invention, with Zubin Mehta and the Los Angeles Philharmonic, Blue Vinyl, "FZ 503A" and "FZ 503B" on the matrix
2)"Frank Zappa, Hot Rats At The Olympic", Orange Vinyl, "FZ 523A" and "FZ 523B" on the matrix.
Both records are in Very Good + condition using the Goldmine standards, there are some light paper scuffs to each LP, several on the Blue Vinyl, just a few on the Orange Vinyl, but none of any significance. I have refrained from using any cleaning solution on either, just giving them a light dusting to remove some of the static cling. The labels, Black with the Silver Trade Mark of Quality words and Pig Symbol, are in perfect shape, with no spindle wear to the holes.
The inner dust sleeves are both simple plain white paper with some yellowing and a few discoloration blotches, with upturned corners, and a small tear on one of the inner rings for each, but they are in usable condition. However, I will be including 12" by 12" 1mm poly sleeves for the LPs, and a 13" by 13"  2mm sleeve for the Album Jacket for your convenience.
The album jacket has signs of ring wear, some discoloration of the cheap blue cardboard jacket, especially along the edges, some light scuffs on the bottom front that did not break through the blue facade, and a few tiny pencil prick size of what look like stains near the words "Hot Rats" (I am tempted to attempt to clean it with a damp q-tip gingerly, but I tend to be a klutz on such things! I will leave that to you!) Those may be just discolorations, or factory defects though...this is a Bootleg! The square gold TMAQ badge with the pig symbol that is on the upper left corner has some lite discoloration to the gold, but it is clear and complete. The Jacket, outside the faults that I have detailed, is solid, unsplit...it kept the 2 lps inside quite safe from harm! (When I mail the set to you, the LPs will be outside of the album jacket to prevent splitting the jacket during shipping and handling). The wording for the album on the front cover looks like it was done with a rubber stamp, by the way!

Now, I do believe that 175 is a fair starting price for this auction...especially in light of the fact that there have been frequent winning bids of around 175 for just one of these colored vinyls! (See popsike.com, type in Zappa, 200 Motels + at The Olympic). There was even a 600 dollar winning bid 2 years ago for a similar orange and blue combo of these Zappa performances! And I do stand by my sales...your Satisfaction is always my goal! (And that's why I've tried to go into detail about the conditions!) I sleep better when my customers are happy!
Expedited shipping is available, otherwise in the US the default shipping be by USPS Media Mail, $4.00 for this set, add 1 dollar extra for any additional items you win from me. (I will be putting up Zappa's bootlegs of Poot Face Boogie and Safe Muffinz a little later this evening...if you're interested in those, too!) I gladly ship worldwide! Please use the shipping calculator for your own nation...additional items for overseas customers would be 3 dollars apiece more.
Thank you, and Happy Bidding!
