Description

Yusef Lateef        Jazz And The Sounds Of Nature     mono   Savoy 12120  maroon label  RVG 

Yusef Lateef (ts, fl etc), Wilbur Harden (flhn etc), Hugh Lawson (p etc), Ernie Farrow (b etc), Oliver Jackson (d etc) Recorded 1957 

Maroon label with RVG in run outs on both sides. " PO Box 1000, Newark, New Jersey" address on back. 

 The record looks and plays VG++/VG+ .  Side 1 has some superficial scuffing on Track 2 that is not into the grooves and does not affect play.  Side 2 has a small crescent shaped light scratch which ticks lightly below level of music app 9 times.  Grooves look glossy and  do not show significant wear.    

 The cover is VG++.  

    The paste on front cover is bright and shiny with light wear.  There is denting visible at the corner at the bottom of the pocket.  The back cover has light wear and shine.  The spine is split app 4 inches near the top but is tight at the top and not taped.  The top seam is split and not taped app 1 inch at the pocket.  The bottom seam is not split.  Spots of heavy wear at  the corners of the pocket.   

Black lines that might be visible at bottom left and top right in pictures are due to photo cropping and not on cover.
