Description
YOKO ONO - 'PLASTIC ONO BAND'
This critically acclaimed and now highly regarded album was the companion album to Lennon's release of the same name but was a poor seller at the time of release. It is especially notable for its outstanding Lennon guitar work and has been cited as a significant contemporary influence on many modern artists.
This EXCELLENT UK 1st pressing dates from the album's initial release in December 1970 and is on a custom Apple Records label: SAPCOR 17

Perfectly clean & unblemished with just three or four light spindle trails around each unworn centre hole.
Visual: VERY GOOD +
Clean and bright playing surfaces which bear several light surface marks on strong daylight consistent with sleeve removal and turntable contact, but nothing I would call a scratch. Both sides of this respectable copy lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: VERY GOOD +
This copy has not been played very much at all and all tracks play without any groove/playwear distortion. My single careful play-check at volume detected a little light background during quieter spots and an occasional light tick, but nothing heavy or distracting.There is still much to enjoy on this respectable copy.
Cover: VERY GOOD
A clean and strong example with light to moderate handling & storagewear. Both front & rear panels still retain a nice gloss finish with just two small 'thumbnail' wrinkles on the front panel only. there is some wear to the upper two corners but both opening edges are sharp & undamaged, there is a 1.5cm upper seam repair but the lower one is fully intact, as is the spine.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
Flat & uncreased with some age-toning but no writing, tears or seam splits.
