Description

DESCRIPTION:  Yes- Time And A Word LP.  1st UK pressing with plum/red Atlantic labels, lyric insert with correct catlogue number,  sleeve with "pinched-in" ends to spine and correct original inner dated 1071.

COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK. 


CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): EX/EX. Vinyl is very clean with a nice dark sheen. Played majority  of this today. Sits flat on the turntable. Music is clean, clear and loud throughout.  Cover is in very clean condition, way better than is usually seen. It is firm and square and retains great shape. It has only light edgewear , light cornerwear and minimal creasing. Good shape retained to fully legible spine. Insert has minimal wear, no writing or rips and just a few light foxing spots. Inner sleeve has a album title printed to one corner.  Very clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears.

GRADING SYSTEM: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. 


I am just starting to sell off my personal Blues record collection, built up over 40 years and including many records from Blue Horizon, Blue Liberty etc.
