DESCRIPTION: Yes- The Yes Album LP. 1st UK pressing with Plum/orange labels, machine stamped matrix ending A1/B1, gatefold sleeve and correct style of poly lined inner dated 1072. Overseas postage cost includes tracking and a box/cruciform mailer. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Atlantic 2400 101 STEREO. YEAR OF RELEASE: 1971. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG. Vinyl is clean with a nice sheen. I think it just falls short of VG+ visually. Played passages of both sides of this tonight on my budget deck. Sits perfectly flat on the turntable. Plays pretty much EX. Music is clean, loud and clear. Cover is in average shape, low end VG,no better. It is firm and square, retains decent shape and has near heavy edge wear, moderate to heavy corner wear and near moderate creasing. Clean inside to gate fold. Inner sleeve is EX or near to EX. Clean and white with light wear only. Clean labels with just a touch of foxing when tilted to light- please check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER YES/ PROGRESSIVE/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
