Original first US pressing (= ERSTPRESSUNG) from 1979. You are bidding on the brilliant YES L.A. sampler. It’s the original one-sided picture disc, released on cult punk label ‘Dangerhouse’ (catalogue number EW 79). This rarity still includes the original plastic ‘Dangerhouse’ bag and the plain white cardboard filler (see scan). A legendary compilation from Los Angeles. The same sold on eBay for $175, $158, $153, $152 and $150 (US). All of the tracks/versions were recorded EXCLUSIVELY for this record. That means all are non-7“ and non-12“ versions. This LP was given 9/10 points by the FLEX book/website (US Hardcore/Punk)….and here’s the FLEX comment:
- A one-sided picture disc with some of the best bands the early LA scene had to offer. Great melodic LA punk in the legendary Dangerhouse style; all songs are hits - except for the Black Randy track, but even that might be a matter of taste. A classic. [9]
- 6 Trax aus der Blütezeit des L.A.-Punks. Zwischen absoluten Hits wie Disneyland oder Los Angeles findet sich eigentlich nur ein faules Ei (der Black-Randy-Song, ätzend wie immer), ansonsten ist diese Platte ein Gewinner; melodischer, etwas rockiger 77er Punk.

Versand / Mailing: alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden (all records will be sent in plain white sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits). Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt (all records will be shipped in special LP record mailers, two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending).
