Description
Yes - Fragile Vinyl 12" LP UK 1971 Atlantic 2401019 A:
B: 2401019 A//1 1 3 1
2401019 B//1 1 3 4 Vinyl EX- clean, trace sleeve scuffs, plays with veeery light pressing noise Labels VG+ very light spindle marks and some smudging due to handling Sleeve & Inserts VG++ just a little edge wear in the obvious places... nothing bad, check the scans! Inside booklet still well-glued in, all ship-shape. Click to hear a sample taken from this item. This record has been cleaned on a Vpi HW27 Typhoon Record Cleaning Machine! Original UK 1st pressing. Gatefold sleeve with additional 2/3rds pages 'booklet' attached near spine. Original Atlantic plum/orange labels with A1/B1 matrixes.
Almost immediately after this issue, Atlantic switched manufacturing and distribution to the Kinner organization, and thos epressing were different to say the least. The sleeve as it ws in this first issue was also deleted.
Just look around, you'll see what this can go for... because it's very hard to find and UK 1st pressings are getting to be like gold dust for some.
Why? Well this is a very fine album by any standards and one of Yes fans' favorites over the years ...for good reason. Classic UK prog at its best.
As a seasoned record collector and browser, through so many racks of records, I can safely say this is the best copy of this rare edition that I have ever come across. OK so it's a tiny bit short of perfect but well up there in the 'VG++' bracket so be assured it still provedes great sound and will continue to do so for years to come.
I'm not really a record dealer - this is more of a hobby for me.
