Chord of Life
(1986) unofficial release
A two record set 'Amazing Stork Records' labels. Mfd. by Blackbird Records, Inc.
The classic Yes line up. This is a rare recording of a 10/30/72 performance at The University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.
VINYL is Near Mint. This rare release has been in my record vault since the mid 1980's and has still not been played. It was opened, but not played. All four sides have brilliant shines and clean labels.
COVER is Very Good+. Vibrant colors. Wonderful Roger Dean painting 'Morning Dragon'. The front still maintains a gloss. No split seams. Clean spine. The back cover features a crossword by Rick Wakeman. The white background shows no old age discoloration. Some light ring/edge wear is visible, both front and back. Classic and rare live Yes. Note: These 'unofficial' releases of live performances from the 1970's were recorded on 1970's (or 1960's) recording devices. I have had many in my collection over the years. The sound quality will never compare to today's live (and 'official') recordings. I appreciate the vintage live music but also view them as archival pieces of recorded musical history. Especially when they are recordings of my own personal favorite bands.
